Pine64确认其开源电子墨水平板PineNote将会回归，该设备于2021年首次发布。之前只有少量开发者单位发布，主要面向拥有Linux操作系统知识的开源社区爱好者。
由于电子墨水屏幕的制造成本高昂，导致该设备的推出面临风险。但现在，PineNote已经具备可靠的基于Debian的操作系统，可以为普通用户提供良好的使用体验，包括预装的Xournal++、Firefox和Foliate等软件。
现有用户可以下载新操作系统镜像并进行测试。基本上，PineNote定位为领先电子墨水笔记设备的自由替代品，如Remarkable 2、Onyx BOOX和Amazon Scribe。
尽管尚未确定发布日期，但Pine Store团队仍在进行生产工作。
