基于区块链的身份验证公司 World（原名 Worldcoin）由 Sam Altman 创立，并推出了新版本的生物识别设备 Orb。报告指出，新的 Orb 设备采用 Nvidia 硬件，比前代更高效，性能提升了五倍，体积更小，零件更少。
此外，用户即将能够通过其他方式验证身份，包括使用 NFC 功能的护照。
World 还推出了 World ID Deep Face 服务，用于识别视频真伪。
到目前为止，已有 1500 万用户注册 World 应用，其中 700 万用户已通过验证。
