根据9to5Linux的报道，Ubuntu 24.10[预计于今年十月发布] 和Debian GNU/Linux 13 “Trixie”[预计于2025年6月至7月发布]将推出经过改进的APT命令行界面。APT开发者和Canonical工程师Julian Andres Klode在LinkedIn上展示了由即将发布的APT 3.0软件包管理器驱动的全新APT界面，旨在为用户在通过终端模拟器更新、安装或卸载软件包时提供更为简洁和清晰的命令行输出。
新的APT 3.0用户界面引入了列显示，使用户更容易快速查找软件包名称，支持颜色显示（删除为红色，其他更改为绿色），这使得用户可以一目了然地快速区分各项命令，并使用Unicode块更流畅地显示安装进度条。
