省长Wab Kinew邀请曼尼托巴省民众通过他的Instagram帖子或投票网站反映他们最喜欢的设计，投票截至周日午夜，获胜设计将随后公布。
该省计划立即淘汰纸质健康卡，转向数字塑料卡，成为加拿大最后两个仍在使用纸质健康卡的省份之一。
Kinew在今年早些时候的新闻发布会上表示，人们在2024年的健康保障“不应依赖破旧的健康卡。
