Automattic公司旗下的WordPress经历了约8.4%的员工减少，159名员工接受了遣散包裹。
首席执行官Matt Mullenweg表示，此举是在公司方向争议和与网络主机WP Engine的冲突之后采取的。
大多数离职员工来自WordPress部门，部分来自其他业务单元。
离职的员工获得了3万刀或六个月的薪水，但Mullenweg补充说，他们不符合重新聘用的资格。
