继欧盟和印度实施USB-C作为所有消费设备默认充电接口之后，英国政府也开始咨询是否应采用统一充电标准，USB-C是否为合适选择。
这项咨询由商务与贸易部下属的产品安全与标准办公室发起，呼吁制造商、进口商、分销商和行业协会提供意见。
若英国决定不采用USB-C，可能只会提供转接头，而不是推出独特设备版本。
该办公室表示，统一标准可能会对企业与消费者及环境带来好处，因此希望征求各方意见。
