开发商Sports Interactive表示，游戏未达到玩家应得的标准，因此将把重点放在2026年的版本上。
预购用户将获得退款，且Football Manager 2024将不会更新新赛季的球员信息。
开发商计划将2024版本扩展至订阅平台，未来将提供更多信息。
