一组年轻原告与夏威夷州和夏威夷交通部达成历史性气候和解协议，推动州政府清理尾气污染。
13名年轻原告在2022年提起诉讼，当时年龄在9岁至18岁之间。
协议确认他们的环境权利，并致力于到2045年前达到零排放目标。
协议还设立了一个新单位协调二氧化碳减排和一个志愿青年委员会为交通部提供建议。
年轻人参与气候诉讼，呼吁更多关注环境保护，温室气体减排不再只是大人的事，年轻一代也有权利和责任参与。
