奥地利在举办“杀手机器人”会议时，呼吁加紧努力规范武器系统中人工智能的使用，以防止可能制造所谓的“杀手机器人。
奥地利外交部长亚历山大·夏伦贝格在会议上表示，随着人工智能技术飞速发展，那些无需人类干预就能实施杀戮的武器系统越来越接近，大多数国家均认为这会带来需要尽快解决的道德和法律挑战。
他呼吁国际社会达成一致，制定规则和准则以确保人类控制。
多年来，联合国的讨论并未取得实质性进展，许多与会者表示，在维也纳举行的为期两天的会议上，采取行动的时间窗口正在迅速关闭。
人类是否应该将生死决定交给机器，这一道德难题值得深思。
