根据The Document Foundation的消息，德国北部州政府仁一次成功的试点项目后，决定将使用在地方政府的3万台PC从微软Windows和微软Office迁移至Linux和LibreOffice（以及其他自由开源软件）。
据总理主页报道：“独立，可持续，安全：施莱斯维-霍尔斯坦将成为数字化先锋地区，也是德国首个在州政府推出具有数字主权的IT工作场所的州。
随着内阁决定将开源软件LibreOffice作为标准办公解决方案引入，政府已经为向完全数字主权迈出第一步做好了准备，未来还将采取进一步措施。
