此次和解旨在未来五年内降低商家支付的刷卡费用共计300亿美元。
和解仅适用于美国商家，是2005年提起诉讼案件的结果。
但在接受纽约东区地方法院批准之前，一切仍未尘埃落定，而且此案件也可能上诉，开启漫长争夺之路。
