加拿大广播电视和通讯委员会（CRTC）于10月25日宣布新决策，设定小型公司获取大型电信公司现代光纤网络的批发费用。
这一决定预计将在2025年2月13日之前生效，为加拿大用户提供更便宜的高速互联网、电视、家庭电话和智能家居服务。
CRTC主席Vicky Eatrides表示，此举将为用户提供更多选择，提升互联网竞争力，尤其是在安大略省和魁北克省。
