温尼伯警方确认一名男子的身份，他在周五早上被发现重伤，随后在医院去世。受害者名为拜伦·弗雷德里克·穆斯，50岁，是曼尼托巴省南印第安湖社区/O-Pipon-Na-Piwin克里民族的成员。
警方在周五上午4:36接到温尼伯消防医疗服务的通知，称该男子在杜加斯街受到袭击，随后被送往医院。
穆斯在重症监护中不幸去世，警方已经通知了受害者的家属。
目前，调查仍在继续，警方呼吁任何有相关信息的人联系温尼伯警方杀人组或匿名拨打犯罪线索热线。
