多伦多警方在周三晚上确认了一名在斯卡伯勒家中致命 stabbing 的男子身份。66岁的 Kulathungham Mathisoody 在 Finch Avenue E. 和 McCowan Road 附近的家中去世。
警方表示，接到 stabbing 报告后，于晚上11点后赶到现场，发现 Mathisoody 受了伤。紧急救援人员虽努力抢救，但他在现场被宣告死亡。
警方指控他的32岁儿子犯有一级谋杀罪，受害者的儿子于周四出庭进行保释听证。Mathisoody 是该市今年第78起谋杀案的受害者。
警方呼吁任何知情人士站出来提供信息。
