微软模拟飞行2024现已发布（Xbox/PC，Steam），这款游戏在模拟方面表现出色，包含一个被称为地球‘完整数字双胞胎’的全球模拟。新版本较2020年版本的文件大小明显减小，约为30GB，预计每小时会有约5GB的流数据。
AI学习实现了纹理和地形网格的4000倍细节提升，游戏中还有一个新职业模式，提供26条不同的职业路径。
游戏的动物行为更为真实，例如羊在下雨时会躲进屋内。
2020版本也将继续获得支持。
