K-9 Mail 这个开源的Android邮件客户端于两年前加入Mozilla Thunderbird项目。
Mozilla选择逐步将K-9 Mail转变为新的Thunderbird安卓应用，而不是从头开始开发。
现在，Mozilla已推出Thunderbird安卓应用的测试版，并计划在十月底推出稳定版本。
测试版现已在Play Store上可供用户下载，功能包括亮暗主题、邮件签名、一体化收件箱等。
