亚马逊宣布将于2025年2月完全关闭Kindle Vella连载故事平台，该决定被称为“困难的决定。自2021年推出以来，Vella旨在让读者发现新的虚构故事，并为作者提供从Kindle直接出版服务中获利的新方式。
但亚马逊表示，该平台未能达到预期效果，因此决定在推出三年后停止服务。
作者只能在12月4日前在Vella上发布故事，之后读者也将无法购买代币。
不过，尽管平台关闭，读者仍可继续使用已购买的代币解锁已发布的剧集。
在数字时代，许多平台盛极一时又瞬间消逝，或许这正是创新与市场真实需求之间的微妙舞蹈。
