Thomson Reuters在美国赢得了首个重大人工智能版权案件。
该公司于2020年对法律人工智能初创公司Ross Intelligence提起诉讼，指控其非法复制其法律研究公司Westlaw的材料。
德拉瓦州地区法官Stephanos Bibas裁定，Ross Intelligence侵犯了Thomson Reuters的版权，并认为Ross无法提出有效的辩护。
在关于合理使用的议题上，法官的判决对Thomson Reuters也作出了有利裁决，且对后续的人工智能公司可能产生重大影响。
