微软宣布，将于2025年1月9日关闭Xbox头像编辑器应用。由于用户参与度低以及公司对玩家体验的重心转移，微软计划停止该服务。
届时，玩家将无法访问自己的头像及购买的物品，微软将对自2023年11月1日后购买的物品自动退款。自2018年推出以来，Xbox头像提供了比Xbox 360更丰富详尽的头像创建功能。
不过，用户仍可在新版本停用后编辑使用旧版头像，并可以在2025年1月9日前通过头像编辑器应用继续更新。
若玩家喜爱自己的Xbox头像，现在是截图记录的最佳时机。
