亚马逊宣布将于2月26日起移除Kindle电子书的“通过USB下载与传输”功能，关闭一个用户可轻易下载旧版可破解DRM格式的漏洞。
尽管如此，用户仍可通过Wi-Fi传输电子书，且使用Calibre传输电子书的方式依然有效。
此举将限制用户复制零售书籍的能力。
