据Ars Technica报道，美国能源信息管理局（EIA）对今年上半年的数据进行了分析，发现风能、太阳能和电池的安装速度远超过新建天然气发电机。
其中，太阳能新增容量达到20 GW，占比60％，电池新增容量4.2GW，占总新增容量的20％。
预计到年底，新增60 GW容量，其中37 GW为太阳能，15 GW为电池，7.1 GW为风能，天然气新增容量为2.6 GW。
电池技术的快速增长将有助于减少碳排放，美国在可再生能源方面的发展势头逐渐向正向发展，给人们带来新的可持续能源展望。
