与UPS和FedEx一样，西南航空并未受CrowdStrike停机事件影响。响应CNN采访时，Delta、American、Spirit、Frontier、United和Allegiant均表示遇到问题，但西南航空却称一切正常。
一些人将此归因于Windows 3.1。
