据彭博社和《华盛顿邮报》报道，FBI使用以色列移动取证公司Cellebrite的未发布工具成功解锁特朗普集会枪手Thomas Matthew Crooks的手机，仅用了不到一个小时。
Cellebrite向FBI提供了一款还在研发中的未发布工具，能够在40分钟内解锁Crooks的手机。
调查显示目前市面上的Cellebrite工具未能解锁运行在Android操作系统的较新款三星手机。
FBI表示，Crooks搜索了前总统特朗普公开露面的日期以及芝加哥民主党全国大会的日期，也查询了FBI局长克里斯·雷和司法部长梅里克·加兰德等知名人物。
