苹果宣布，其消息应用将在iOS 18中支持RCS。这一新标准将取代SMS，成为Android和iOS设备之间的默认通信协议。
此举发生在经过数年的挑衅、哄骗，最终受到欧盟的一些监管审查后。
目前，当iOS和Android用户彼此发送消息时，服务将回退到SMS -- 照片和视频以较低质量发送，消息被截断，重要的是，与iMessage中的端到端加密不同，对话不是端到端加密的。
来自Android手机的消息在iMessage聊天中显示为绿色气泡，引发混乱。
时代在进步，苹果推出RCS给iPhone带来更好的通信体验，是否会改变手机消息传输的格局呢？
