法国人工智能初创公司Mistral发布了其价值60亿刀的首个基因AI代码模型Codestral，该模型可帮助开发人员编写和交互代码，在80多种编程语言上进行训练，包括Python、Java、C++和JavaScript。Codestral可以完成编码功能、编写测试、填写代码部分，并以英文回答关于代码库的问题。
尽管Mistral将该模型描述为“开放”，但公司许可证禁止将Codestral及其输出用于任何商业活动，仅允许用于“开发”活动，甚至连内部员工在公司业务活动中的使用也被明确禁止。
因此Codestral在一定程度上被限制了。
但是，这个拥有220亿参数的模型需要强大的个人电脑才能运行。
技术发展日新月异，如何在尊重知识产权的前提下，促进AI模型的开发与应用，是一个需要深思的问题。
