一场老派视频游戏的竞争又写下了新的篇章：以生产首款热门家用游戏机而闻名的Atari宣布收购长期竞争对手Intellivision的品牌，并获得Intellivision Entertainment的200多款游戏的品牌权。
这两家公司是上世纪70年代末和80年代初游戏机行业第一次战争的关键角色。

Atari旗下游戏工作室Digital Eclipse的主管Mike Mika评论称，这项收购“结束了历史上持续时间最长的游戏机战争。
