渥太华Senators任命Travis Green为总教练，并与其签署一份为期四年的合同。Green接替了暂时的总教练Jacques Martin，后者在D.J. Smith于12月18日被解雇后执教这支NHL俱乐部。
去年，Green在新泽西魔鬼队担任暂时总教练时，战绩为8胜12负1平，之前的总教练Lindy Ruff是在3月4日被解雇的。这位来自卑诗省卡斯尔加尔的53岁教练，在2013年至2021年间在温哥华金坚系统中执教，包括超过四个赛季的NHL经验。
他在2021-22赛季的前25场比赛中与总经理Jim Benning一起被解雇，当时Canucks战绩为8胜15负2平。在Green的带领下，Canucks取得了141胜159负35平的战绩，并在2019-20赛季季后赛打入第二轮，但最终以七场比赛输给了维加斯。
