Ecobee公司于2008年推出的始祖Ecobee Smart智能恒温器，宣布将于2024年7月31日结束对设备及其商业对应产品Ecobee Energy Management System的在线支持。
此举将禁用诸如网络门户控制、智能集成和与天气相关的功能，而基本的暖通空调控制和计划功能将继续运行。
