以加密邮件服务Tuta Mail闻名的Tutao公司向欧盟提起数字市场法（DMA）投诉，称其在谷歌搜索中遭到降权。Tutao公司声称，其产品Tuta Mail和Tuta Calendar在2024年3月初突然在谷歌搜索中降权，导致关键词搜索结果从数千条降至数百条。
Tuta Mail联合创始人Matthias Pfau表示，对谷歌搜索结果的降权感到惊讶，尝试联系谷歌却未果。
谷歌否认了这些说法，称搜索排名更新绝不会偏袒谷歌产品或特定网站，且Tuta Mail在全球搜索中仍然易于访问。
谷歌搜索仍将返回最有帮助、相关的结果。
