研究人员发现，当一家公司在两个县的就业均等时，若其中一个县发生热浪，未受影响的县在三年内的就业增长率会增加0.7%。
尽管受高温引发的死亡人数居高不下，像亚利桑那州和内华达州这样的州仍在经历快速的商业扩张。
环境变化已经开始对企业运营产生明显影响，气候风险评估逐渐成为企业常规风险评估的一部分。
