《OMG Obuntu》博客报道，Linux Mint 21.3 现在可以下载使用。这是第一个在其 Cinnamon 桌面环境中支援 Wayland 的版本。通过一个成功的上个月的测试版测试后，Mint 开发团队正式发布了这个稳定版本，因此你可以合理地期望在安装或使用过程中不会遇到任何重大问题。
它基于 Ubuntu 22.04 LTS，默认使用 Linux 5.15 内核，但也可在操作系统内安装更新的内核版本。作者的测试结果显示，Cinnamon 的 Wayland 支援基本成熟。虽然不是完美的，但未遇到任何主要问题，可以正常工作。
不过，Cinnamon 的 Wayland 支援仍处于早期阶段，并未默认启用。预计要等到 23.x 系列（预计于2026年）至少才能满足所有使用者的需求。无论如何，你可以自己尝试并查看是否适合你。
在登录界面会话选择器中选择“Cinnamon on Wayland (Experimental)”会话，然后以正常方式登录。此外，最新版本的 Mozilla Firefox （deb 而非 Snap 格式）已预装。
Cinnamon 的 Wayland 支援虽然不是完美的，但基本成熟，可正常工作。期待 23.x 系列可以满足更多使用者的需求。
